Configure BTBeacon IDs

Preparations

  1. Connect TimeKeeper and BTRouter to BTServer via an micro USB cable.

  2. Make sure all hardware are proper connected.

  3. Launch Device Manager application.

Assigning Beacon IDs

Beacon ID and LED ID are different. Both should be uni across the project.

  • Each Classic Beacon will use 3 LED IDs.

  • Each Mini Beacon will use 1 LED ID.

For example:

Classic Beacon ID 1 will use LED IDs 1-3; Classic Beacon ID 12 will use IDs 34-36.

Mini Beacon ID 1 will use LED ID 1; Mini Beacon ID 12 will use ID 12.

Make sure LED IDs do not conflict.

  1. Select a Beacon, use Station column indicate the physical Beacon.

  2. In Device Setting, Select Preset Beacon to assign Beacon ID, then click Apply.

  3. (Optional) For Classic Beacon Change the Wireless Frequency to match the TimeKeeper. (Default is channel 26, most of case you wouldn't need to change it)

  4. In Setting menu, select Device Manager Configuration.

  5. Enable Radio On for Beacon battery status data transmigration.

Note: All Classic Beacons, TimeKeeper and BTRouter should use same Wireless Frequency.
